ABOUT THE POSITION
If you are a food and photography enthusiast, are creative, have great communication skills and an eye for design then this position is for you.
Louisa Foods is looking for a full-time photographer/videographer and communications coordinator with experience who will bring in new energy and be an integral part of our team. A great eye for composition, styling and lighting skills are critical, design skills preferred. In addition, the candidate should have superb written and verbal communication skills - all to support the company's leadership team and, through digital and print marketing, help promote the Louisa Foods story.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Photography/Videography
- Using in-house equipment, in the culinary kitchen, produce photos/videos for use on social media, the website, in presentations and other marketing collateral
- Increase and strengthen the Louisa visual asset library - help curate existing assets and ensure all new images are optimized for efficient in-house file search and for all communication channels, including online, social media, email, mobile, video and print
- Provide ideas for how to integrate videos into the overall marketing and communications strategy
Social Media/Website Content
- Create and monitor Louisa's organic and sponsored posts on social media
- Interact with Louisa's followers on social media, including responding to product and customer support questions
- Help generate and implement new digital marketing campaign ideas
- Add new content (recipes, products, images) and make adjustments on the foodservice and retail websites via the CMS, as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communication strategies and practices
Graphic Design
- With the direction of supervisor and/or brand agency, design and prepare images and graphics for advertising, flyers, packaging, the website, social media, catalogs, presentations and documents required for marketing purposes in line with the established brand
- Contribute to the careful proofing of print and digital materials to ensure accuracy and brand alignment
Communications
- Collaborate and communicate with company leadership, retail and foodservice sales teams, and culinary staff to execute requested marketing communications
- Contribute new ideas for marketing campaigns and tactics
- Work in collaboration with internal Louisa team, external marketing agency partner and vendors to create and execute marketing campaigns and tactics

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Passion, enthusiasm and a keen interest in learning. Louisa Foods is willing to invest in furthering the experience and knowledge of the right individual for our team.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication with major or minor in the following: Journalism'digital strategy, photo and video storytelling, art direction or design, copywriting, or equivalent experience/related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience with a well-rounded portfolio (including photography and digital media)
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communications abilities
- Strong project, time management and organizational skills
- An effective listener who seeks and accepts feedback and looks for opportunities to learn and grow
- Self-motivated, flexible, accountable and able to take ownership of projects.
- Experience with social media management and creation tools
- Adept in SLR cameras, other photography/ video equipment with a great grasp of composition, framing and lighting.
- Proficient in photo manipulation and video editing tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro, After Effects. Be familiar with other Adobe Creative Suite software such as InDesign and Illustrator as well as Canva
- Proficient in Microsoft Office'Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Be familiar with Teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Food styling experience not required, but an enthusiasm to learn is
- Knowledge of web content management systems, such as Umbraco or other
- Familiar with SEO needs and techniques
