HR RECRUITER - PART-TIME UP TO 25 HRS WEEK

PART-TIME HR Recruiter

Louisa Food Products, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality filled pasta and appetizers. Louisa's Human Resource department is growing to match our growing business. We are in search of a part-time HR Recruiter. The hours are flexible - hours worked can be eight 5 hour days or three 8 hour days, with a maximum of 25 hours per week. The HR Recruiter job will aid the HR team in the hiring process for the manufacturing plant. The HR Recruiter will also help the HR department with other various administrative duties as well.

HR Recruiting duties:

  • Communicate with HR Generalist and Plant management to determine hiring needs.
  • Post jobs on HRIS system based on those needs.
  • Review resumes, schedule phone/in-person interviews, schedule onboarding.
  • Communicate new hire information with payroll and other departments.
  • Attend job fairs as needed.
  • Use innovated ways to recruit new employees.
  • Assist HR department as necessary with trainings, filing, and other administrative duties; as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Sitting – 90-95% of the job is sitting.
  • Lifting – Some lifting is required, normally not exceeding twenty (20) pounds.
  • Work Environment – When walking into the production area, the floors are wet and slippery; therefore, proper footwear must be worn. Must wear company provided safety and sanitation gear as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in HR, business administration, or related field, preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written skills.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of a variety of office practices and procedures, such as use of office equipment including 10-key calculator, and MS Office software.
