ABOUT THE POSITION
Louisa Foods is looking for a full-time regional sales manager with experience to be an integral part of our expanding foodservice sales & marketing team. This position will manage the foodservice business in multiple states and will require travel. The candidate should be self-motivated with great leadership qualities and an extensive background in foodservice.

POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES
After completing hands on training in our factory with operations, product development and culinary time with our chefs, the position with have immediate exposure to food shows, sales meetings, broker management, end user sales/ demonstration calls and overall market responsibilities. This position will continue to evolve as we grow/expand.
Once knowledgeable with our processes this positions responsibility will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage respective markets including broker, distributors, and direct customers.
- Work with our sales & marketing team on quality customer presentations, food shows and sales meetings when needed in other markets.
- Responsible for managing budgets on market/customer spend and programs in a cost-effective manner
- Confidence and skill in working with multiple individuals on multiple projects simultaneously.
Other responsibilities will be assigned on as needed basis
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Passion, enthusiasm, and a keen interest in learning. Louisa Foods is willing to invest in furthering the experience and knowledge of the right individual for our team.
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must reside in St. Louis, MO
- Sales experience in the foodservice industry either within distribution, brokerage, or manufacturing
- Proven record in managing sales team and /or territory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to consult with high level multi-unit customers including Chefs, Owners and CEO's
- Experience establishing sales quotas and planning market strategies
- Effective presentation and marketing skills
- Exceptional communication and follow up skills
- Ability to analyze sales data
- Travel required
